Our beef is certified 100% American Black Angus. The Black Angus breed originates from the Aberdeen region in Scotland. Its importation to the United States began in the 19th century and since then, the country has made it one of its main gastronomic assets. In addition to the initial selection, which only retains the best strains of the breed, a three-step quality control is carried out after slaughter to always offer you the best:
• Control of the fat color.
• Control of the meat color.
• Control of marbling.
The characteristics of this beef are multiple and meet international standards. A classification is established based on different quality criteria such as taste, tenderness, and degree of marbling. This marbling gives the meat its flavor. Since 1999, Black Angus has also been certified hormone-free according to the NHTC quality standard, in order to be imported into the European Union.
